Booking Terms & Conditions
Here's a summary of the primary terms and conditions that apply to your booking. Please take the time to
read through these to understand your rights and responsibilities. Being aware of these conditions will
help in planning and enjoying your trip without any inconvenience.
Deposit & Final Payment
- A 30% deposit is required to secure your tour and customized itinerary bookings.
- Until we receive this deposit and issue confirmations, we cannot guarantee your
accommodation and services.
- The remaining balance is due three months before your arrival.
- If the final balance is not received on time Brillant Travels reserves the right
to treat the booking as canceled by you and the deposit will be
retained by us.
- For bookings made within 90 days of departure, the full amount of
your trip must be paid upfront to confirm your booking.
Means of Payment
- Payment options include major credit or debit cards like Visa and Mastercard, as well as bank
transfers.
- If you opt for a bank transfer, we require a receipt of your payment as a guarantee until the
transfer is completed.
- Invoices are issued in the local currency of your booking location for convenience.
Revision Fee
- Any revision made after the original booking has been processed and deposit received will incur a
handling fee per booking, per change.
- If you request any changes to the confirmed program 14 days or prior to the start of your trip,
Brillant Travel will try but cannot promise to meet any request.
- Any amendment will be subject to approval, and additional costs will apply if incurred.
Lost Belongings
- Brillant Travel cannot be held responsible for any claim, losses, damages, or delay of baggage,
other belongings, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset or disappointment, distress, or
frustrations, whether physical or mental, resulting from the act or omission of any party providing
services.
- The above includes any belongings left at hotels or attractions visited. At all times, the client is
fully responsible for their own belongings and should ensure that they are loaded in the vehicle
before departure from any property.
- If requested, and when possible, Brillant Travel can facilitate retrieval of said items under the
client's own expense. Additional charges, therefore, would apply.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Payment for the tour is a fundamental part of the tour’s income and contributes to the overall cost
of equipment, running costs, staffing, administration, etc. As the Company will have incurred the
majority of its costs before the tour starts, we need to impose cancellation charges to cover these
costs.
- Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking, we will impose cancellation charges as
follows:
- 30 days or more prior to departure – loss of deposit
- 15-29 days before departure – 30% of tour cost
- 7-14 days before departure – 50% of tour cost
- 3-6 days before departure – 80% of tour cost
- 48 hours or fewer before departure – 100% of tour cost
- or deposit if greater.
- Brillant Travel may be subject to alternative cancellation terms, which will be communicated to
applicable Clients at the time of booking.
- All cancellations must be in writing and be made by the person who submitted the booking form.

- Once the tour has started, no refund for any unused portion or part of the tour or services to be
provided will be given. If you want to make any changes to the tour, or depart the tour early, such
alteration or departure will be entirely at your own expense and liability. You will also need to
communicate in writing to the tour operator your reason for leaving the tour.
CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY
- We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us for any reason prior to your payment of the
full price of the trip. In this case, we will refund in full any amount that you have already paid
us.
- After you have paid in full, we will only cancel the contract if circumstances beyond our control
make it unavoidable. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, civil or political unrest,
terrorism, natural disaster, or other force majeure circumstance.
- In the unlikely event that such circumstances arise, we will contact you immediately and offer you
the choice of equivalent services or a full refund of all monies paid. No additional compensation
will be paid over and above the total sum received from you.
Acknowledgement
- You acknowledge that you are 18 years of age or above and that you understand and agree with the
above Booking Terms and Conditions.
- We strongly recommend that you reconfirm your flights at least 24 hours prior to departure
time.
